Fourth Student Research Society Conference 2026
Youth Impact for a Sustainable World

Westminster International University in Tashkent is pleased to announce the Fourth Student Research Society Conference 2026: Youth Impact for a Sustainable World. This conference provides a platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students from Central Asia to showcase their research and contribute to discussions on sustainability. We welcome submissions from various disciplines, including business, economics, finance, management, marketing, public health, computing, international law, education, and languages.
The conference will consist of three sessions: 

Conference Paper Presentations
Open to all students
“New Academic Talent 2026 Competition” Presentations
Only shortlisted level 6 and 7 WIUT student’s dissertations
“Research Skills Development Course 2026” Presentations
Only RSDC selected participants

Our goal is to encourage students to transform research into action by exploring critical challenges and solutions for a sustainable future. Whether through academic research articles or analytical essays, participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas and engage with peers and experts in their fields.

HOW TO ATTEND THE FOURTH STUDENT RESEARCH SOCIETY CONFERENCE 2026
Conference is structured in two phases
Phase 1: Research Abstract Submission
Applicants must upload their research article’s extended abstract (900-1000 words), including the full names, affiliations, and contact details of all authors. Submissions will undergo a peer-review process, with selection based on the originality and scholarly contribution of the research.

  • To apply, submit specific SDG related Research Article’s extended abstract through this link
  • Submission deadline of extended abstract March 31, 2026.
  • Open to All Students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)
Important: Participants who submit their work to the New Academic Talent Competition 2026 are not permitted to submit the same paper to SRSC 2026.
Phase 2: Conference Presentation
  • Selected papers will be presented during the Conference.
  • Shortlisted candidates are required to send their presentation slides to research@wiut.uz by April 17, 2026
  • Slides must not exceed 12 pages
  • Presentation speech must be approximated around 7-10 minutes
  • File format: PDF, PPTX
  • File title must be: SRSC2026_ConferencePPT_NameSurname.pdf

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and virtual participation. Meals and refreshments will be provided for in-person attendees, but travel, accommodation, and related expenses must be covered by participants themselves. There is no fee for attending the conference, and the working language will be English.

About WIUT

Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is the first International University in Uzbekistan and the first of its kind in Central Asia to offer International Higher Education.
