Full paper submission guidelines

You can submit your paper to be published in the Active Learning and Teaching of Foreign Languages in Uzbekistan (e-journal) (included in the list of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan). Please read the guidelines carefully and follow them. In case the full paper is not formatted accordingly and is not well-written, it will not be accepted for publication.

Please consider the structure and style for the full paper submission. The papers can be reflection or practice-based and research-based. Reflection-based papers do not have to have a specific structure and should be logically-organized. The research-based papers should follow the structure below:

  • Title (maximum 15 words)
  • A short biography of the author(s) (50 words) *
  • Abstract (100-150 words)
  • Key words (5-7)
  • Introduction (including literature review)
  • Methods (describing the main tools and participants)
  • Results and discussion (including tables and figures)
  • Conclusion and recommendations
  • Acknowledgements (if any)
  • Reference list

*A short biography should contain the author’s full name, position, affiliation, research interests and any other relevant data. Send a photo of the author(s) against the light background.

Format and Style:

  1. Font: 12-point Times New Roman
  2. Body text justified; single spacing
  3. One line between paragraph; no indentation
  4. Pictures or images to be sent as a separate file
  5. Figures and tables created within MS Word document
  6. Bold all the headings within the paper
  7. Word count: 2.000- 3.000 words including the title, abstract, key words, tables, and references. Journal publication requires a fee – 30 000 UZS per page
